We’d like to invite you to the first Queensland-based Australian Cartoonists Association Get-Together in quite a while…
The Grand View Hotel (commonly known as the GV) is Queensland's oldest licensed Hotel (built in 1851) and offers the best in alfresco dining (if you want to eat at the meet), and the Beer Garden overlooks Moreton Bay. Children are welcome — there is an outdoor children's playground available for any little ones.
Please RSVP to Nat Karmichael via email by 17 March if you wish to eat, so numbers can be arranged with the Hotel.
The Licensee, Gerald Brock, is a keen supporter of cartoon art, having recently held an Exhibition of "Cartoons from the Bunker". The Hotel was also the first venue in Queensland to host the Bald Archies travelling exhibition.
