Biography

I’m a cartoonist, animator and storyboard artist in Melbourne.

I self-publish comics. You can also find my work in anthologies such as Operation Funnybone, The Tango Collection and Going Down Swinging.

When I work for others, I do animation and storyboards for kids shows, advertising and e-learning. My illustration work includes character/BG design for animation, various spot illustrations and a few kids books for The Five Mile Press.

My best-known animation work would include an animated film called Herman, The Legal Labrador, an animated opener for Australian TV chat show The Panel and a video for comedy/folk troubadour The Bedroom Philosopher. I’m currently making an animated series called Be A Man.

I spent 2010-2012 doing a weekly webcomic called The Bret Braddock Adventures, which is about a wealthy nimrod wreaking havoc on the television industry. On Jan 26, 2012 I and five other comics artists opened Squishface Comics Studio, an open comics studio in Brunswick, Vic.
