Where do my portfolio images get stored on the website?
The ACA uses Amazon's S3 service to store images that are uploaded by members to the website. That includes thumbnail and full size images of each uploaded file. The S3 service is not under the same agreement as the general Amazon terms and conditions that in the past have been reported and confused creators with regards to copyright handling. The S3 service is merely a hosting service that is no different than any other service web hosting companies provide. The residing location for the images is served through Amazon's S3 in its Singapore facility to allow faster distribution over the network.
Questions from Associate Members
I joined as an Associate member but have become professional, can I upgrade my membership?
Yes you can apply to become a Full member. If you are already an Associate member you can simply send the Membership Secretary the required documents to have your application processed and approved to become a Full member.
