Cartoonists Laws & Regulations

Postby Vercingetorix » Wed Dec 23, 2009 7:07 pm

Hi, i was just wondering what laws & regulations professional cartoonists are required to abide by when they make their art whether it's for the internet, Promotional printing, magazines or Gift cartoons. I'm finding it difficult to locate anything specifically applying to cartoonists or Illustrators so i was wondering if anyone here could point me in the right direction

I would be gratefull for any help you can offer.
Thanks

There are no specific laws and regulations pertaining to being a cartoonist. General laws like defamation, copyright and general business law is relevant. Other than that it's open slather.
