Questions regarding the Cartoon Industry in Australia

Hi, i was wondering if some of the cartoonists on this forum might be willing to submit themselves to a small questionaire regarding the cartoon industry in Australia - it's to help me out with an assignment i'm currently working on which requires me to find information from individuals working in the industry.There isn't alot of questions only 3, and i tried to make them fairly understandable:

Q1: Do you consider the Cartoon industry in Australia to be in a state of growth, stability or decline? and what factors do you feel are the major contributors to the current state of the industry?

Q2: How would you rate the standard of cartoonists' work in australia? Would you say that Australian cartoonists are competing well with overseas artists?

Q3: How much interest is there in Australia for Cartoons? and is there any specific area of cartooning that seems particularly sort after?
